Ultra pure water

 ultra pure water process

Ultrapure water (UPW), high-purity water or highly purified water (HPW) is water that has been purified to uncommonly stringent specifications.

Ultrapure water is a term commonly used in manufacturing to emphasize the fact that the water is treated to the highest levels of purity for all contaminant types,

including: organic and inorganic compounds; dissolved and particulate matter; volatile and non-volatile; reactive, and inert; hydrophilic and hydrophobic; and dissolved gases.

application : semiconductor ultrapure water process

The higher the density of semiconductors, the more stringent the water quality required.

For diluting semiconductor manufacturing chemicals or cleaning semiconductor products, ultrapure water with a high purity that cannot be compared with general industrial water or pure water is required.

Ultrapure water required in the semiconductor industry is 100% theoretical pure water that does not contain organic matter, live cells, ions, and particulates dissolved in water.
